Erebus Black Zirconium Ring with Meteorite Inlay

Erebus is Astraeus after dark. The same 4mm channel of solid Muonionalusta meteorite, the same million-year-old iron, set this time into black zirconium.

The black is not a coating. Zirconium is heat-treated until its own surface oxidises to a deep charcoal black, grown into the metal, so it cannot chip or peel like plating. Against it, the meteorite's crystalline pattern reads brighter than it ever does in silver.

• Band: black zirconium. The black is a hardened oxide grown into the metal itself, not a plated coating, so it will not chip or flake. Hypoallergenic and lighter than tungsten.
• Finish: polished black zirconium.
• Inlay: solid Muonionalusta meteorite, 4mm wide, with a professional electrophoretic coating.
• Width 6mm · comfort-fit interior · typically 6–9g depending on size · sizes UK L½–Z+2 (US 6–14).

Can my ring be resized?

Tungsten carbide cannot be physically resized, but if the fit isn't right we offer a free size exchange within 30 days. Not sure of your size? Request a free ring sizer before ordering. And if we don't list your size, get in touch and we may be able to make it for you.

Will the meteorite rust?

Genuine meteorite contains iron-nickel and can develop a natural patina if left damp. Keep it dry and wipe it promptly after any moisture, and it will keep its character for decades.

Is each ring unique?

Yes. Natural meteorite varies in colour, texture and pattern, so no two rings are identical. Yours is one of a kind.
